The application process in Kane County for Coronavirus Relief Funds under the CARES Act is currently open to municipalities, fire protection districts, townships, park districts, municipal libraries and the Kane County Forest Preserve.
Small businesses, nonprofit organizations will be invited to apply in the coming weeks.

Small businesses and nonprofit organizations will be able to access the application portal subsequent to an informational webinar scheduled for Sept. 18. Additional details about the webinar will be available soon.

New IRS Get My Payment tool allows taxpayers to provide direct deposit information and gives payment date

The IRS has launched a new Get My Payment tool with features to let taxpayers check on their Economic Impact Payment date and update direct deposit information. Get My Payment will show the projected date when a deposit has been scheduled, similar to the “Where’s My Refund tool” many taxpayers are already familiar with.
