The Chamber has a number of committees working to serve the membership and the community. Some committees are active throughout the year, while others focus on a single annual event or activity. The committees provide an opportunity for Chamber members to share their individuals’ talents while developing a strong network of business contacts. MEETINGS, MEMBERSHIP & MIXERS – The committee coordinates the Chamber’s monthly membership meetings, securing guest speakers and handling related details. The committee also coordinates the Chamber’s annual membership drive and plans the monthly mixers, which provide an opportunity for members of the business community to visit in a relaxed, informal setting.
SPECIAL EVENTS – The Committee plans the Chamber’s special programs throughout the year. The events include two community-oriented programs, June’s “Cruisin’ Into Summer Car Show and Fun Fair,” and November’s “Santa Comes to Hampshire.” The committee also plans the Chamber’s annual Holiday Gala celebration.
GOLF OUTING – The committee plans and conducts the Chamber’s annual golf outing, which takes place in August.
COMMUNITY GUIDE – The committee coordinates production of the Chamber’s annual community guide and business directory, a popular publication many residents keep close at hand throughout the year.
